Gears n' Goggles

Hi fellow steamers.

I seek people from denmark, who enjoy Steampunk and the 19. century.

If you is one of these or know anyone who is. Then please send them to this Board so we can share this passion.

Absinth, the drink of the 19. century

Two classic ways of preparing the ultimate  19.
century drink, Absinth.

NERF-gun made a little more steam

NERFguns, we all know them. Either we love them, or we do not. Why would a girl who has been fired with  them in her childhood love such a terrible toy? Fortunately, this has not ruined my relationship with the "little" fine gun.

Well, since I am active in LARP you can not get out of these little devils. When I attended a Firefly LARP in the autumn of 2011, I had to adapt them to the universe. I did this with nothing but sandpaper, glue, saw and paint. You can do a lot more about them and I have a few lying around just to be painted.

Because Firefly is slightly more SciFi (Hmpf), you can easily use gadgets such as laser, etc. But I was practicing, so they are very simple.

Japanese doll in Victorian style

For about a year ago I found a pattern and a guide for a Japanese cloth doll. I already then set my mind to make this doll in a Victorian/steampunk look.
Except from the poorly translated page, it is an easy pattern with a good photo instruction.
So now, after 3 hours I’ve made the arms and legs. I really find it exiting to try out new stuff, and especially when I can use it for my passion: steampunk.
As I’ve already have told, I have a greater passion for liveroleplaying. This is also one of the reasons for this project. I am going to use it, for a character as a doll maker.
Further down is the homepage for the doll I am trying to make. You can find a PDF and try it out for yourself. Unfortunally is crafting items and fabric very expensive in Denmark. So this forces me to take up a new challenge. I will sew the cloth for doll in second hand clothing. A cheap and nature saving way of crafting.
